After 10 years, I made my debut in Telugu with Karthika Deepam. Similar was the case with one of the Malayalam projects. "I went for a Telugu serial initially, but I got selected for a Tamil project. But the actress' ultimate destination was to get into the Telugu industry. So he requested me to just lie down as a dead body for one shot," she laughs.Īfter her first Kannada project, there was no looking back for Archana as she was busy with back to back projects in Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam languages. It was for a short film and the cameraperson was my dad's friend. But the first time I faced the camera, I was playing a dead body. "While I was doing my fashion designing, one of my colleagues suggested I give an audition for a Kannada project and got through the audition.
